Here's an easy decorating idea using Department 56 A Christmas Carol buildings and accessories from the Dickens Village series.
One of my favorite moments is when Scrooge, after his famous night of visitations, offers a London street urchin a guinea to fetch the largest goose in the butcher's window for Bob Cratchet's Christmas table.
Kids know this story so they will love this mini-scene.
