Thomas Kincaid Illuminated Village Christmas Tree

If you collect Department 56 Christmas miniature villages, you are no doubt familiar with the work of Thomas Kincaid.

One of the latest pieces is the  Thomas Kincaid Illuminated Village Christmas Tree.

Like another similar limited edition Christmas tree, “Glory to the Newborn King” featuring the Nativity, the illuminated village tree celebrates the most familiar traditions of the season in a marvelously detailed fifteen-inch tall tabletop decorative tree.

Have you ever seen a Christmas tree decorated with 12 Victorian buildings and over 40 villagers? Within the branches are nestled horse-drawn carriages, skating children, snowmen, and lighted miniature buildings.

In fact the tree is powered by AC adaptor or 3 AA batteries. Light shines through the star tree topper and through every window. Kids especially could stare this decoration for hours!

This limited edition illuminated Christmas tree is made of artist resin and sells for around $135 online.

The work of Thomas Kincaid is best known for his light-infused paintings of Christian and life-affirming themes.
