Big daddy of all auction sites and the place many people go to first when looking for deals.

  • Cost: when you list an item on eBay, you're charged an Insertion Fee ranging from $0.25 to $4.80. If the item sells, you are also charged a Final Value Fee which is a percentage of the final cost. Final value fees range from 5.25% of the initial $25.00 ($1.31), plus 2.75% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000.00).
